Museum Maniac

Last Tuesday was meet the teacher at Hudson's new school. I didn't get any pictures of that because it was a little hectic and quick. Justin took the day off from work for his last day of vacation so afterwards we took him out to IHOP for pancakes and then we decided it was a perfect day to visit the Dallas museum. Here he is waiting on us to get ready to go.

Hudson insisted this was an elephant, even when we told him what the sign read.

In the first hallway they had audio recordings playing about the animals. He was intently listening to the guy.

He was a little leery of this alligator we walked by.

The giant dinosaur mouth.

This was my 2 guys favorite thing there. You could control the speed and they were hooked. Must be a guy thing, because I didn't get it.

Outside there was this cool satellite that he wanted to do on the way in and out. Anything with audio entertains this one.

He was very concerned about what this wolf had in his mouth.

A reoccurring problem we have at our house is pants not staying up because there is no bootie to hold them up. This happened at the museum by the dinosaurs.

Putting his money in to watch it spin.

Pretending to be a fireman. This lasted about 10 seconds.

This might have been the place he spent the most time, which didn't surprise us.

He named this "Bacho" the dinosaur.

I was surprised he was brave enough to climb this high.

They had these little computers set up. After we walked to the next exhibit he said "I need to go check on the compeeter."

We were 1 day late to see the Chinasaurs exhibit, we thought we were going to catch it, but we just go to see this one.

Justin let him pick out a toy from the gift shop and he picked out a space shuttle. Here we are leaving while they took the space shuttle for a fly.

He was a HUGE fan of the museum. We really couldn't believe how much he liked it. He never threw a fit, complained or whined. He just happily went from exhibit to exhibit exploring and learning. We really love that he loved it so much.

The next day he covered his face with stickers. Nice!

Next post - vacation...
